Awww Sis, hugs for you. Have you had them tonight already?

@Snowie

Re: The Challenges of Mental Health Wellbeing

Hi @Faith-and-Hope I've seen you under the support button.

Re: The Challenges of Mental Health Wellbeing

No I've had flashbacks tonight and had to call scbs to try and remain safe, just scared now. I feel that any small thing could tip me over the edge. @Sans911

Sorry I don't want to put this onto you, you have enough to deal with

Re: The Challenges of Mental Health Wellbeing

I think you know what my response is to your post. I'm OK with being here with and for you. No need for apologies. I'm actually glad you have reached out to me. I'm not sleeping so good this last week, so I'll be here for you for a while. We can talk about anything you want to, or I can tell you some stories of my life, work, whatever you like that keeps your mind away from them for awhile. I'm right next to you sister. Hugs and hugs ❤️ 💜 💙

@Snowie

Re: The Challenges of Mental Health Wellbeing

Thanks @Sans911 , you always seem to know what to say.

Have you got many plans for the weekend?

How are the cats?

Re: The Challenges of Mental Health Wellbeing

The cats right now are in/on their beds-Mr A is in his cat bed on top of my bed. Jasper is on the towel on top of the tall boy. My room had to be arranged around the position of the tallboy so that the cats can see out the window. Spoilt?! Nah lol! Not much. Jasper does have a blanket on the bed but it is on my side, and I'm a restless sleeper, so he probably doesn't appreciate the kicks. They're both sound asleep right now looking so sweet. It's so calming to watch their breathing up and down, and watch them dream & sleep without a care.

I have a volunteer meeting in the morning with other volunteers in the same organisation (we all live/volunteer in the same area). We meet once a month to socialise as we often don't see each other, and talk about any issues we are having as well. They're a lovely bunch of people.

Then I've got my volunteering at the op shop in the afternoon. There's just two of us which I like. I work with the manager, and she's teaching me how to do the days takings and close the shop. I get really nervous handling the till money when customers are milling around, so it's a bit of a fumble bumble atm.

Sunday I need to study and work on my assignment, but I'm probably going to go to a food festival late morning.

Gosh, now I really have rambled on, haven't I? I'll take a breather while you read this.

Re: The Challenges of Mental Health Wellbeing

I would love to sleep like you cats or like Izzy, without a care in the world. Wouldn't that be nice. I think all our pets are spoilt but they are so worth it. They keep us going at times.

Sounds like you have  some nice things happening tomorrow. The volunteer gathering seems like a good idea and I am glad they are nice people .

They must trust you if the manager is willing to show you to close the shop up. I am sure you will be fine doing it hun.

I have got a quiet day tomorrow. Have to take D to the physio but that's all that is on the agenda. That and washing of course

@Sans911

Re: The Challenges of Mental Health Wellbeing

You always seem to be doing washing hun!!

I care so much about my cats I don't want to put them through the possibility of leaving them starving and uncared for. They are my reasons for living much of the time. They're so used to me that they would find it difficult to go to someone else if I wasn't around any more. That's not fair to do that to them.

I slept oddly last night so my neck & right shoulder are a little painful tonight. I'm not sure where my gel is at to make it a little more comfortable. I'll have a look tommorow.

It's still quite warm here at night so I have the fan going right now. I put it on timer when I go to sleep. I don't have to be up too early tommorow so I can have a lie in.

Your weekend sounds OK. Have the kids sports slowed down now?

@Snowie

Re: The Challenges of Mental Health Wellbeing

I did lots of sheets and towels this week which has added up the washing. On top of kids school uniforms there always seems to be something that needs washing.

I can understand that about your cats hun. Izzy's cuddles keep me going too and how excited she is to see me when I get home. She never seems far away and does give good cuddles.

The weekend sports have slowed up a bit which is nice. Gives us more time to relax on the weekends which I think is good for the kids.H is off to the grand prix on Sunday so if I have the energy might take the kids somewhere Sunday, even if it is just to a movie.

@Sans911

Re: The Challenges of Mental Health Wellbeing

That sounds really nice @Snowie.

Has H settled a little yet?

I have some washing probably needs doing over the weekend sometime. It's mainly because my top I wore tonight got chocolate sauce spilt on it. I had tiramisu for dessert; it was delicious. One of my favourite desserts. Even when I worked on the ships, Sunday night was tiramisu night. It was the only night I allowed myself to have dessert. Do you like sweet things? Do you have a favourite dessert?

Don't forget to take care of your needs too this weekend. Schedule some self care time for you to just chill and relax.

@Snowie
