Re: Taking the plunge

Hoping you recover soon @Maggie slowly but surely ❣

Re: Taking the plunge

I hope your eye improves quickly @Maggie and you can see much better when it does. Recovery from surgery can take longer for some people so hang in there Maggie. Is lttle Mags giving you lots of cuddles?

Re: Taking the plunge

Good morning dear @Maggie and waves to @Zoe7 @outlander @Appleblossom @Shaz51

Maggie, how is that eye of yours going?  Hopefully still on the improve.  Was it cataract surgery of something that you had?  Whatever it was, if there is only one eye, it would be a big worry to have anything done.  My husband had a macular tear about 18 months ago, which needed repairing. It went okay but resulted in a cataract forming over top.  Which is apparently quite common with the macular operation.  Then he had the cataract removed in about June this year.  His eyesight is still not good, but ever so slowly it seems to be improving.  The specialist said it would take time, maybe a year or two.

So its been 9 days since we last heard from you, and I have been thinking of you regularly.  You and your little furbaby. How is she by the way?  No pressure to reply Maggie, really just wanted to remind you that you have lots of support here if or when you need it.  Sending you much love and care.

Just adding my voice and missing you feelings here @Maggie Heart

...and saying hi to @Former-Member with such a lovely post Smiley Very Happy

Re: Taking the plunge

@Former-Member@Zoe7 I can't yet read posts, sorry. Bits and pieces is all I can pull together. Yes @Former-Member cataratct surgery, unfortunately my other eyes only sees colour, so it's strange. Surgery was successful with distance, but close up is not happening. Back for checkup next week and hopefully glasses will fix the problem.

I hope you are doing okish @Former-Member. Christmas is difficult for many.

@Zoe7 I'm presuming F&H is overseas but not sure. If so I know this will make things difficult for you. I am supporting you both though I can't send pics or likes. You are in my thoughts often. Thanks for thinking of me, so much appreciated. πŸ’œπŸ’•πŸ’œπŸ’•πŸΎπŸΎπŸΎπŸŒ·πŸŒ·πŸŒ·πŸΎπŸ’•πŸ’œπŸŒ·πŸŽ΅

This morning I made a decision to withdraw from a disability employment services that had solicited work through advertising on fb and foolishly I said yes and went along with them for a bit, but i became overwhelmed.  It is good to know they are out there, but I have enough on my plate, they were a bit pushy and long term stability is more important and I need to be careful about transitioning to the NDIS.  I feel better having decided and sent them an email.

I hope you are feeling more settled in your new accomodation.  It is lovely to see you posting around on the forum.
