Oh wow! I am so glad this thread is going so well and encouraging us all towards doing good stuff for oursleves.
@Mazarita. @Shaz51, @Former-Member, @Former-Member, @CherryBomb all the best to each of you!
Thanks for being here and sharing progress.
Unfortuantely, I now have a cold (or really bad hayfever) and a face crop of cold sores! Sheesh, so i am feeling utterly rubbish. I still manged to go shopping, water the garden and do a bit of sweeping and raking but not alot else has happened. Don't want to get in the pool with coldsores.
I am quite sore in the joints too probably due to the immflammation respose to the hayfever/cold/cold sores and all the wlaking on he weekend. Grumble Grumble. bah humbug!
All things pass, i will get bouncing back I am sure!

Hi @MoonGal, what a pain and nuisance for you. I say you've done well today regardless.
I just checked the tides for tomorrow. Low tide (best time for walking) is 10.30am, so I've made a date with myself to get out there then!

Hi all...
Well done on the exercise bike & walking @Mazarita - It sounds like you need to do those physio exercises... Glad to read you have planned a beach walk tomorrow
@MoonGal you are in the wars!! I hope you get better soon!! *fingers crossed*
@Shaz51 glad to hear you walked today.
Well I did a strength training session this afternoon & I feel shattered now.... Mood is low & anxiety is heightened... Will watch Offspring soon to try to help me unwind...
Namaste,
Anna

@Former-Member Thanks for the good wishes about tomorrow's walk. My favorite things about the beach: soft sand on the walk down to the shore; water lapping at the feet as I walk along the water's edge; the loud ebb and flow of the waves as they roll in and crash over and over. (Less welcome are the roaring jets that pass low overhead, lol). I usually look out at the ocean a fair bit, boats and swimmers and surfers. I also see people, sometimes with children, dogs, jutting rocks, headlands in both directions, the city skyline in the distance, the clouds. Sometimes there is a smile or hi with other walkers passing by.
@Former-Member I do need to do the physio exercises but that doesn't always get me motivated unfortunately. I also need to talk to the GP about it for the first time when she returns at the start of February. I probably should have it medically checked out given how limiting I am finding it. Thanks for the good vibes on tomorrow's walk. Congrats on the training today and I hope some good TV helps settle your moods tonight. Namaste.
