It reminds me of this wallpaper i had in my bedroom as a kid.  It wasn't anywhere as colourful, (mainly oranges - it was the 70's!) but had similar, if much simpler. patterns of repeating circular flower like shapes broken into so many smaller shapes.

I would lay in bed staring it for ages, mesmerized by all the shapes breaking down into smaller shapes and details the more you looked into it.  It would have been nice it if was half as colourful as this though.  What the heck was it with orange in the 70's?!

Too popular.  My first car was a 1976 Centura.  Guess what colour it was!
