Re: Good Morning!

@TAB yes, Job Expos - Waste of F*&^ing Time. I like your idea, of calling in sick. Job coach said oh you get points for attending. I said yeah I've already fulfilled my requirement. He says but you can bank your points. I replied yeah I've already banked as many as I'm allowed to.

I tried to explain to the bod that I've already been told by a couple of recruitment agencies that I am unlikely to get reception or customer facing work because of my missing front teeth. Employers aren't going to want someone with huge gaps in their mouths greeting their clients/customers.

Wake me when it's over I say!

You have had a very productive day. I am so desperate to get out of the house but if there is a storm looming I need to keep check on the roof as when it rains heavily the roof leaks into my bedroom and I am stuck covering my furniture with tarps and placing buckets in precarious places.

Buy a house they said, it will be fun they said. Oh and when I claimed the roof damage on insurance, the insurance company I was with said that there was too much damage and cancelled my policy. The money I got from them wasn't enough to cover repairs so I have to wait until I have enough money to get the roof fixed. Or turn my bedroom into an indoor pool.

I have also considered going back on sick cert but I've got to find work to pay for mortgage and roof.
Plus, Mr Murder Mittens is getting fussy about his food now. I did tell him to find his own but I am now afraid to go to sleep lest he unalive me in my sleep!!

Just think, once you've got your newspapers you'll have something else to do. And glad you've got clean undies on, in case you need an ambulance!! 🤣🤣🤣

Re: Good Morning!

just got email saying my post got deleted cos 'unfriendly' @ENKELI

yeah i dont do points, only do 4 job apps a month and they dont look too closely at them( I didnt realise they could see them)

re teeth had same thing around 12mths ago due to fainting and falling repeatedly , eventually knocked my 2front teeth out,, yeah, wrong dentist and $3000 later ...

i would try and get voucher from govt dental, maybe they have a thing for it.generally they only do it if youre in pain else have to wait years. had 3teeth pulled in last 12mths as well as 2 added (bodgey job) now got wisdom tooth trying to come out as tooth next to it gone now, leaving some room ha ha , when things playing up recently, even face was hurting ok above top jaw.sick of it all.

have you seen the leak ?from outside ? get someone to double iron up or something or tube of silicone so long as lap on top of 'new ' sheet  goes higher sheet always on top re water and gravity 2nd hand sheet of iron can get for free nearly just need someone to fit it, its like 30 min job unless whole roof. just put another sheet/piece  ontop of leak well thats assuming galv else just replace tiles yes clean undies, not made it home couple times , ie told to go to hosp after going to drs lol

Re: Good Morning!

Soz @Jake63 you got to remind me that you are here. I don’t know where I am or what I’m doing at the best of times 😆

It’s taken me 3 months to get use to @Bunnykins name change.

@Sparky79 Thanks for keeping this rowdy lot under control while I concentrated on napping.

I’ve got furniture to sand and Shart (shit-art) to finish.
@TAB did you get your things done before second nap?

Re: Good Morning!

After 2nd nap @Glisten  lol but yes. Had to push myself.went okay tho

Re: Good Morning!

Stay right there in bed @Dreamy The outside world is highly overrated.

My day started wonderfully. I even had a couple of storage solution ideas.

I have no less than seven projects going at the same time. Because it takes 48 hours for things to dry and set.

Some projects give up unforeseen surprises and slow me down for days.

The rain is great and the paddocks are green again, instead of being dust bowls.

The horses like the hard rain. They get all clean and fluffy 😁

Re: Good Morning!

@Glisten the outside world is definitely overrated 😂

Love hearing about all your projects that you have going, you are amazing at keeping yourself busy.

Yay for green paddocks, my grass is slowly growing back thanks to the bit of rain we have had.

Hehe clean and fluffy horses. My horse used to love the rain and hated me putting his jacket on him to try to keep him dry.

Re: Good Morning!

@Shaz51 there's always next time 😍

Re: Good Morning!

@TAB the way the moderators act on Sane these days is abysmal...and I'll probably get a warning for that!

Yes, there is govt dental however I would still need to pay a percentage of the work and I don't have any money left over after paying mortgage, car, home & contents insurance, health insurance, rates, fuel and grocery shopping. I am usually overdrawn in my account within 2 days of getting paid.

I have a tile roof and the damage was caused by a tree falling on it during a storm which my insurance company promised would be covered, then they had some muppet come over and decide that my house is in poor condition so they cancelled their policy. I am now paying extreme amounts of insurance.

So yes, I have a house. But soon it will not be habitable. Why? Because I had a lazy sh*thead living in my house while I was supporting my ex friend and her children elsewhere and the sh*thead never bothered telling me when things got damaged. It was only when I moved back in that I saw the extent of damage to my house. As it was a family member I erroneously thought they would take care of the house.

I sometimes think it would be easier just to go to sleep and never wake up but alas I always tend to wake up the next day. God has an interesting sense of humour.
