Good evening @avant-garde, thank you for clarifying this. I would love to know if you have heard more about what happened. Has your case manager updated you at all?

Yeah, I got up the nerve to message my case manager and apparently her colleague assumed I was complaining and not understanding the meaning of "priority". I mean for beeps sake, I'm the one with heating aids but her colleague seemed to be the deaf one. 

My case manager is going to call me Thursday.

@avant-garde totally agree. Think with everything we have been through it really makes us have more kindness towards others, unfortunately even when some don't deserve it.

So my "little sister", her older brother just became a dad and so their mum is flying over next Tuesday.

I have a friend at my Monday craft group who knows my little sister and her mum and so when the baby came, I asked my craft friend to knit a baby blanket for the new baby. 

She will have the blanket finished Monday and then I get to surprise my little sisters mum before she flies out the next day. 

I hope she has room in her suitcase. 

I used the flights as an excuse to change the day this time around.

Also picked up my trauma sisters birthday present today. 

After my hospital appointment I had some time and went and got her a shower steamer, roll on essential oil, fairy wren pin, cute little bag. Also in a post box with a fairy wren and a few other little bits. Box isn't quite full but we'll fix that before next months birthday event
