Re: Tabaluga's

Ha @TAB I'm going to stick with my potassium chlorate, sulphur and phosphorous in my match head for ignition and the carbon in my leaves and wood for fuel

Pine cones are really combustible

Re: Tabaluga's

when I thought had more $ I got 2 big pine trees cut down. took weeks, one was 26metres high and a metre diameter to like 4 metres off ground, cost at least $4000

I was worried about roots across yard and fire risk

@Till23  anyway . there's still some pine cones and I use one of the stumps to split wood I buy on

Re: Tabaluga's

Did you burn the pine trees @TAB or sell it? Pine is terrible for your chimney - blocks it up as resin builds up on inside.

Tree felling costs a fortune.

Re: Tabaluga's

Hi @Till23

It has been a while since I bumped into you. How are you going?

Re: Tabaluga's

Hi @Oaktree unfortunately I had to put my dog down on friday, so not going particularly well. Then my roof sprung a leak and it's really bad weather at the moment, supposed to rain for a whole week. Was bucketting down today.

Sorry to hear you've had a cold

Re: Tabaluga's

@Till23

So sorry about your dog, that’s awful news. I hope that you can get your roof fixed and it doesn’t cost a fortune

Re: Tabaluga's

Thanks @Oaktree he was almost 17years old and had multiple problems, deaf, partially bilnd, heartfailure etc so it was time.

Yes I'm hoping I can get it fixed ASAP it's very anxiety provoking and I also hope it doesn't cost a fortune.

Re: Tabaluga's

@Till23

Almost 17 years is a long time for a dog! I bet he brought you a lot of joy in that time.

Hugs to you hun x

Re: Tabaluga's

Yes @Oaktree he was a rescue, according to RSPCA he was a jack russell cross fox terrier so a small dog, which live longer that big dogs, but still a good age.

Yes he was a great dog, I could never work out how he ended up at RSPCA
